The exhibition “Coordenadas Líricas” was created by Apaixonarte gallery, a concept where each artist gets to create an artwork inspired by a poem.
Our artwork reflects the creation as a refugee, as a imagined place where we can be ourselves.
“Em cada esfera desenho o meu refúgio – as minhas coordenadas.”
The parallel was shifted by almost nothing
and everything became dark:
it was light disguised as dawn
the light that enveloped me.
The geometric shape of my steps
seeks a round sea.
I carry with me, within my arms
hidden, the whole world.
I no longer go alone.
I just run away
from the dark ambushes.
In each sphere I draw my refuge
– my coordinates.
