The overall imagery of the video has a duotone ambiance and is illustrated in black and gold. The contrast of these two colors reflect a duality between two worlds that exist in parallel and where we can see one through the other.
One exists in luxury and the other on the dark.

3D looping animations that illustrate parts of the lyrics appear in the background while the lettering overlays the images and reveals a scenery in the opposing color.
Along the music the “El Dorado” only reveals itself through the lettering, as if it was a window to another world. Only in the chorus the main scene is filled with gold hiding the darker world behind the letters.
